30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all new subscribers to our paid plans (Starter, Professional, Business, and Enterprise).

If you're not satisfied with our service for any reason within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, you can request a full refund—no questions asked.

Who Is Eligible?

  • New subscribers to any paid plan
  • Refund requested within 30 days of initial payment
  • Account in good standing (no violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy)

What's Not Covered?

The following are not eligible for refunds under our 30-day guarantee:

  • Renewals - Only the initial subscription qualifies for the 30-day guarantee
  • Downgrades - Changing from a higher to lower tier
  • Add-ons - One-time purchases or additional services purchased separately
  • Free tier - No refund applicable (already free)
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations

Refunds After 30 Days

After the 30-day guarantee period, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

We may issue partial or full refunds for:

  • Extended service outages affecting your ability to use the platform
  • Billing errors or technical issues on our end
  • Exceptional circumstances warranting special consideration

Refund requests after 30 days do not guarantee approval. Each case will be reviewed individually.

How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Contact Support

  • Your account email address
  • Subscription plan name (Starter, Professional, Business, or Enterprise)
  • Original payment date
  • Reason for refund request (optional but helpful)

Step 2: Verification

Our billing team will verify:

  • Your subscription is within the 30-day guarantee period
  • Your account is in good standing
  • No previous refunds have been issued

Step 3: Processing

Once approved:

  • Refund issued within 5-7 business days
  • Original payment method - Refund credited to the card or account used for purchase
  • Account access - You may retain access until the end of your current billing period, or we may terminate immediately depending on circumstances

Subscription Cancellations

If you simply want to cancel your subscription without requesting a refund:

  • You can cancel anytime from your Billing Dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain full access until then
  • No refund is provided for the current billing period unless within the 30-day guarantee window

Chargebacks and Disputes

Important: Initiating a chargeback through your credit card company before contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account.

We take chargebacks seriously and prefer to resolve billing issues directly. Please contact billing@makeaihq.com before filing a dispute.

If a chargeback is filed:

  • Your account will be suspended pending investigation
  • If the chargeback is found to be unjustified, your account may be permanently terminated
  • You may be liable for chargeback fees and costs associated with the dispute

Enterprise Plan Refunds

Enterprise plans have custom terms and refund policies negotiated in your service agreement. Please refer to your contract or contact your dedicated account manager for refund inquiries.

Third-Party Marketplace Purchases

If you purchased a MakeAIHQ subscription through a third-party marketplace (e.g., AppSumo, StackSocial), refunds are subject to that marketplace's refund policy. Contact the marketplace directly for refund requests.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Usage-based overages (e.g., tool calls exceeding your plan limits)
  • Custom development work performed by our team
  • One-time setup fees
  • White-label branding fees
  • API access fees

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card issuer, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Currency and Exchange Rates

Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment. If you paid in a currency other than USD, the refund amount may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations between the original charge and the refund date.

Tax Refunds

If taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.) were charged on your original purchase, those will also be refunded. However, we cannot refund taxes paid to third-party marketplaces or payment processors.
